If there's one thing positive that COVID-19 taught us, it's that road trips are just as fun as destination vacations! By the time you call an Uber, go through TSA or immigration, wait at the gate, spend an ETERNITY boarding the plane, fly for hours with a mask on (UGH!), potentially lose your luggage, and get ANOTHER Uber, you may as well have just taken that 8 hour road trip you thought would be less convenient. Besides that, you can't even take any of the fun, extracurricular stuff on airplanes with you like you can in your car!

1. Yosemite National Park, California
With over 1,200 miles of protected meadows, waterfalls, valleys, ancient Sequoia forests, and wilderness to explore, this should be on the top of EVERYONE'S list. When most people think "California" they think Hollywood and the beach, but take it from a local: this is by far the most beautiful part of our state!
2. White Sands National Park, New Mexico
Rising from the heart of the Tularosa Basin is one of the world's great natural wonders - the glistening white sands of New Mexico. Great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand have engulfed 275 square miles of desert, creating the world's largest gypsum dunefield. Not only is this one of the most Instagrammable places EVER, it will also make you feel like you are on another planet!
3. Pacific Northwest, California-Washington
Take a trip up the 101 and you will have your mind blown with every turn in the road that comes your way. From the quaint coastal city of Mendocino County, California engulfed in picturesque beaches and redwood forests, to the the breathtaking archipelago of San Juan Islands, Washington... you are bound to find beauty wherever you look.
